Fity hasn't seemed himself this year....I thought he looked injured also but I haven't read anything about it.

He played better in the 2nd half....he'll come good...just warming up

He has played a lot of football and done a lot of work over the last few years. It is starting to show. It has to have had an effect on him. 40 odd tackles and about 70 to 100 metres per week as well as the goalkicking. He might be in need of a few weeks off to rest.

i agree, i think stuart is becoming aware of this
and with fitzy to feature in the anzac test and no doubt in all 3 origins

i think youll be seeing him not play 80 minutes as we are used to, but hell be a 50-60minute player with players like morley ricko and flannery covering for him

its important to keep him fresh for the back end of the season

I think you guys need to watch a replay of the game. This year he looks better with the football. I like the idea of Stuart taking him off for short spells. Christ, the bloke doesn't stop when he's out there so if he's fresh he can make more of an impact.

Crocker makes a big difference to our team. He just doesn't stop.

This was discussed on the poeples wall and when someone pointed out his stat's this year I couldn't believe the work he had got through so far already this year

As I too thought he was having a pretty ordinary year (by his standards) but I think that we have raised the expectation level too high for Fitzy that even when he is playing above average we become critical.

I said he was warming up....I happen to like it when he runs with the ball up. I know what he does in defence but he's always been able to do that and still manage a fair few hitups.

I can't believe it this is probably the first time I've ever said any even remotely negative and out come the abusers....get over it.

I love Fitz as much as the next......I'm sure he admit himself its not his best season to date :shock: and his kicking isn't all that flash....we scored the same amount of tries against the Tigs from memory but we couldn't buy a kick :? 8)

I think you missed my point and when I read it again it did sound more negative than I meant.

I was agreeing with you I too thought he was a little out of sorts (definatly not playing bad) and deserves his spot in the Australian team also.

The point I was trying to make was that because he has been so great for so long when he is a little off his best you notice it. But when you look at the stat's he still is one of the best performers.

I completely understand what you were saying and I also agree with you. I never said he was playing bad

I just found it amusing what the Business had to say.....but then again he wouldn't know me from a bar of soap or mojo for that matter so its all good.
