I saw a par on this in the press, or heard a mention on the radio, in the last week.

Anyone know if this is on?

I wonder if he'll put his hand up for Italy RL?

ANOTHER HOT TIP
Former Penrith skipper Craig Gower is set to return to league after a stint in France's Top 14 rugby competition - but he will not be playing in the NRL. SinBin hears that Gower, who has been ruled out of Italy's Rugby World Cup campaign due to a knee injury, has agreed to a deal with London-based Super League club, Harlequins.

ok - that is what I must have seen.
Any truth in it?

Pretty sure he's signed on with one of the Italian RU sides that plays in the Magners League.

They could maybe do with a Craig Gower from seven or eight years ago not a thirty three year old with dodgy knees.

I can't see why he can't do it. Knees shouldn't really matter. Most halfbacks in the nrl these days are quite stagnant in attack (with the exceptions of jt, cronk, hornby and peirce). Even at that level guys like Scott price can still make it provided their forwards run off them with some gusto (apparently this year they havnt been, but Cooper cronk is another good example)

Hornby and Pearce are just as stagnant as the rest, just because their teams have had success recently.
