Just been on the NBN news website & viewed several clips from CRL GF's & semis around NSW. There was quite healthy crowds at all games except in Newcastle. Is this a sign that country RL is still going strong?

The GFs still draw big crowds but regular season crowds are ordinary in many places. A lot depends on who plays in the GF and where and what the weather is like but generally they are still big occasions. A few years ago just about all GFs were televised and they aren't now, except Newcastle I think.

they wouldnt of televised a group 9 or 4 gf would they, a review on the news but surely not an entire game

ABC Grandstand is back for '09
This year ABC Grandstand is returning for the Group 9 Grand Final at the Equex Centre in Wagga Wagga.
It was such a hit last year from Fisher Park in Cootamundra that ABC is doing it again!
PLUS a few lucky ABC Riverina listeners will have a chance to get their hands on some great ABC prizes, AND there might even be a seat in the commentary box with David Morrow, Craig Hamilton and Warren Ryan.
