problem with Sharks last night is they knew we would do what we did. all the teams who have raced ahead have been run down by us to win in the dying stages lately. our defence is much better especially in that 2nd half. but what escapes me is how they didn't race away with a 30 point lead with the amount of ball they had in that 1st half. sharks don't have the most brilliant attack but what got them wins in the earlier stages was their ability to wear down teams through their defence. that has gone missing of late. i hope they pick back up coz i enjoy seeing sharks win just not against us

Sharks will still be contenders this year. If Gallen didn't go off he may have been able to hold them together and stop the scoring spree at the end. Good win to the Eels though. Unfortunately for Parra fans, Kearney may still keep his job if they win a couple more

To be fair to sharks supporters, I don’t recall any of them saying they were top contenders. They have benefited from a great start but are coming back to the pack now. Parramatta were always close to a win and I still think Cronulla will challenge for the 8.
