although kimmorley did play vrey well he wasnt at the fore front of the win as he usually is, with dumar, peachey and sullivan doing major parts to bust open the brisbane defence and set us neumourous tries for the out side backs. i think Raper would be very happy with win for more than one reason.

and what if the bronco hadnt caught the ball but instead turned around to bat it back to his support players? i'm not merritt bashing for the sake of it and i'm not saying he should be dumped just yet but it was inept play...when was the last time you saw peachey not attempt to defuse a bomb? or lockyer at fullback? minichiello? patten? hodgson? it should be no different for wingers eg rooney, lewis, el masri etc.

I agree Merrit has some problems under the high ball. So does Stinky, and even Simmo. Although Simmo at least has a jump for the ball.
