From article "Cas pounce for Roosters packman"
by Emily Parker in League Weekly 2/8/04 (no website)
"Castleford Tigers, bouyed by their emphatic home victory over Widnes Vikings on Saturday evening, have signed Stephen Crouch the Sydney Roosters back-row forward, League Weekly understands.
The paperwork for his work permit and clearance to possibly feature in the last seven rounds of the Super League are already being rushed through after his agent met with Cas officials last week.
It was quite a stroke of luck for Castleford that the experienced 6ft and 15 stone Crouch was available as his agent was actually working on getting him engaged for next season with other clubs in mind."
