Does anyone know what the crowd numbers were last night at Toyota Park? I know it was another huge one, the atmosphere was another amazing one! :D

17,000 - 18,000? More?

Thing is with Wests though, that there's only 4 (this year 3) Campbelltown games a year, so every game the stadium is packed up with locals. I live in Liverpool, so I try to make it out for every Campbelltown game I can, but the Tigers management have gone fuggin stupid and decided to switch 4 or so game to Homebush and a couple to New Zealand. It really isn't fair on Wests supporters when the homegrounds are already split between Campbelltown and Leichardt. They certainly aren't bad grounds (except for the rotting grandstand at Leichardt that nobody wants to fix.)

LOL Max, Leichhardt's problem is not the rotting grandstand - Grant funding would be made available to fix it in a flash if there was somewhere to build a bloody carpark!

It's the NIMBY syndrome, and you can thank the Rozelle locals for it...I used to live near Leichhardt oval, and it's a brilliant spot to watch footy, but accessing the place is (and has been for 30 years) a bloody nightmare.

Because everyone wants to drive....

when will people learn that you can travel to a game WITHOUT your car

Except that bus services to that area have always sucked, and the train services are non-existant...The light rail might have been an option, but it is an expensive, 'mickey mouse' alternative to real public transport.

Any form of transport to Leichhardt requires a HUGE walk, be it car, bus, train, tram, whatever...
