If you press and hold the button down and not release it it stills stops the square so it does depend on when you press it.

If i press and release when the square is on the far right the square generally stops around the centre. if i relaese it when the square is dead on, it stops the sqaure on the far right or far feft.

I do two quick taps and almost get it int he middle all the time..... In other words don't tap...then let the little suare go back and forth. It's a timing thing but just say out loud "doh" in between taps.... ok
