Dragons winger Nathan Blacklock and Panthers halfback Preston Campbell will have 30 special supporters when they play each other at WIN Stadium on Sunday thanks to the âCrystal Bears Tingha Expressâ.
Dragons club sponsor, Crystal Bears, answered a call to help fund a trip for 30 Aboriginal elders and children from Inverell (Campbellâs hometown) and Tingha, where Blacklock grew up, to watch the pair in their NRL clash.
Among the visitors will be Campbellâs grandparents, who have never been to an NRL game to watch him play.
The group will take the Crystal Bears Tingha Express on Saturday to Sydney where they will have dinner with Campbell and Blacklock at the St George Leagues Club. A bus will take them to the game on Sunday and they will meet up with the pair after the match.
