Let's face it, despite huge amounts of funding and star signings, the Canterbury Bulldogs have shown themselves to be a failed club. Incapable of success and a waste of space with a diminished fan base that only makes one look back at the Chaser prank outside the Showground 20 years ago selling knives and terrorist paraphernalia to the attendees seem like halcyon days.
Maybe we would be better off taking the game to China by relocating the team to launch the Dalian Dogs, which would provide publicity to a nice coastal city and celebrate the ancient tradition of eating dog meat.
