Out of Gallen, Lewis, and Parker. My vote goes to Parker by a nose hair from Gallen for the way he has carried the Broncos for a large chunk of the season and his wonderful consistency. Helps that I've seen a lot more Broncos games than either Cronulla or Penrith.

Jokes. Really, it's Dean Young, by the length of time it takes him to supply the ball from hooker, or the distance he normally misses his target by. Take your pick really.

I couldn't care less if Gallen played for the Wagga Wagga Colts, the guy is in a class of his own and should win the award.
Luke Lewis is playing well, but his stats pale in comparison to Gal's.

Heighington has carried the WestsTigers for most of the year,he is the only one who has maintained his form, but Gallen,Lewis and Parker are all worthy winners.

As most have mentioned would be between gallen, lewis and parker, as my club is bronco if i say parker i would probably be biased, i'd have to say lewis has been playing pretty well this year and would be just above gallen.

Was 99% sure you were based on the same reasons you gave JM but apart of me rates Hilder as a good club men so I had to make sure.

Surprised by the lack of love for Myles, is it because of the amount of positions he's played or?

Definitely a good clubman, I didn't mean to have a go at him.

Yeah spending half the year at prop put him out of the running for mine.

It's a tough choice isn't it?

On one hand you have Lewis who's a lot like a traditional lock. He's been a fantastic ball player for the Panthers this season and his influence on the competition has been obvious.

But then you have Parker who's been a better all-round player to Lewis. He's making more yards, busting more tackles and making a lot more tackles (and surprisingly missing less) than Lukey. He's in career best form and deserves all the accolades.

Then you have Gallen who's well...just been Paul Gallen. Big work-rate with a lot of offloads.

I went Lewis, because I prefer his style of lock to Parker but there isn't much between them.

Myles hasn't played lock since early in the season.

I dunno. Gallen or Lewis.

Question to Pete - Why did you call these Dally Ms? I would have called them LU Fans Player of the Year... they have far more respect and prestige than the Dally Ms imo

Lewis is right up there in the NRL for Try Assists. Considering the list is mainly dominated by halves, it is a tremendous effort.

He has the ball playing ability that Gallen and Parker probably don't have.

Lewis is capable of playing like Gallen and Parker though. Against the Warriors he made 22 Hit ups and 40+ tackles.

Gallen, Lewis, Parker so hard to choose. I think Parker's work for the Broncos forward pack is fairly underrated.

Well Parker, Gallen, Heighington and Myles are the typical workhorse locks - they top their team metres, tackles, etc. Anasta and Lewis are in a different style, as they are ballplayers first and foremost. I have noticed the amazing similarity of Anasta's current play to that of Luke Lewis.

Adam - Thought the same thing around the time I got to hooker but got too lazy to change them around.
