Hope you ate your cornflakes slowly this morning BTR.

Fullback of the Year- ANTHONY MINICHIELLO

Was Peachey even nominated?

Dally M Player of the Year - DANNY BUDERUS

Gee you were only saying the other day that this award only went to halfbacks.

WRONG again BTR!!

If your consistent enough any position can win this award including a HOOKER!

Top Try Scorer and Best Winger- AMOS ROBERTS
Well all those clubs that thought he was useless last year and not worthy of signing him up,hang your heads in shame.

Centre of the year- WILLIE TONGA
Brian Smith you wouldn't know talent even if it was regularly playing in your reserve grade side. It's a pity we were outbid by the Bulldogs for his services last year. Our season might of been just a bit different.

Interesting results. I think the award usually goes to the bloke that stands out the most in a struggling to above average side. Did in this case too.

I think Mini getting it at the Roosters is harder than him getting it at the Tiges. He has more quality players vying for the points to compete with at the Roosters.

That would have been interesting. If he had come to the Sharks would he have gone on to play State of Origin, or spent most of the year in premier league.

I can't believe Tonga didn't come to us because he thought he wouldn't get a start over Franze!

Yes general I'm glad that the little weasel bastard Finch got what he deserved ie. NOTHING

Someone on the NRL forum said that they didnt even remember to give him the halfback of the year trophy.

As far as halfbacks in the NRL go, Finch would be below my 10th preference for joining the Sharks.

Not in order but you've got Orford Johns Noddy Gower Sherwin Jones then a few others like Head Prince Kidley Firman McLinden before you'd even consider taking on a weak player like Brett Finch.

Finch's facial expression at the end was very amusing.

Good on amos for reaching his potential and playing a fantastic season, it's a pity he's heading over to the roosters, he deserves better.

I dont know how Folkes got the coaches award. Yes he did well, but realistically he has a team of talent. I would have thought Graham Murray would have got it, he has turned an average non top 8 contender into a team which easily made the 8 this year :?
