Once Thurston goes, you'd think Cherry would be in contention for QLD halfback. How much longer has Thurston got? Is Cronk guaranteed the next spot?

IF DCE keeps up his form in 2012......I'd have no problem leaving Cronk as the utility and play DCE at half.

Thurston would be moving to 5/8 next year regardless of DCE

Sure.
Thurston and Cronk still have a number of years ahead of them though. DCE may yet be a one season wonder (I hope not).

Good thing he showed up though, NSW probably had the majority of the promising young halves before he did.

That was probably a product of/contributed to his condition. He was a very good player before he lost the plot, I felt sorry for him.
