Well you guys in Sydney could have listened to the ABC, which covered the Penrith - Parra game in its entirety.
It is unfortunate that the ABC in each capital city doesn't net broadcast, like 2GB does at least.
People all over Australia could tune in on the net to the 666 Canberra broadcast of the Raiders' game, while people could tune into the Sydney version of the ABC to listen to the Sydney game and in Brisbane etc etc.
The ABC radio doesn't seem to have ANY net broadcasts. Why not? It can't be that expensive?
This is the other thing to remember. 2GB DOESN'T have an exclusive deal. The ABC has massive alternative coverage in each league city.
