according to someone in the camp DL is out of the tigers den,while not wanting to put the house on it ,it looks like the big fella has finally had enough.last weeks ,and this weeks non selection has really done the damage , and he is off.

I will not say were he will end up(i have been given the likely destination) but it looks unlikely to be a sydney based team.

Interesting. I heard a whisper that was very similar to what you`re saying, but was hoping it wasn`t true.
We certainly do lack fire power in the forward pack, without looking at any stats, i`m nearly certain we`d be dead last in line breaks and tackle breaks made by our fowards. Not including hookers in this as i`m talking about running forwards, we only have 2 in our regular 17 being Gareth Ellis and Keith Galloway who really worry the opposing side when they run the ball !

I like how every single thing that's negative is OMG TEFLON's fault. Laurie's no saint behaiviour wise, but of course he was a choirboy before OMG TEFLON OMG got his hands on him.

You know theres something wrong when Bryce Gibbs outplays someone.

The important stat that does not get recorded is how many times he has stuffed up the defensive line by not knowing where to stand.

I dont mind whether he goes or stays- he is certainly a work in progress. The question always is/was when will he knock the rough edges off his game. If he cant do it at WT under Sheens I hope he can do it elsewhere as he certainly has a great appeal.

No big loss there im fine with him leaving, if he isnt paitent or dedicated enough to committ to not only the club but himself then so be it.

For years this club has been throwing big $$ at blokes who could 'potentially' be good some day.... this is the thinking that got us in the situation of being right on the max edge of the cap but having very little quality cattle to show for it.... we all whinge about the roster and why we cant afford better players, well this is a perfect example of that.

Bad attitude, poor training dedication, cant tackle & worst of all not interested in improving it... bye bye.

I do wish him all the best with whoever he goes to, maybe they can get him motivated.

I agree. I don't rate Laurie as "the answer"...BUT...I would much rather see a Sheens experiment involving extra game time for a raw, mistake ridden young prop than putting the best 5/8 in the game out of position (again) and our best pick for half back at full back.

It's not like out front row and bench is so good we can't find a way to squeeze him in!!! :?

Laurie needs time, he needs to be used sparingly in the NRL until he learns his trade but he needs to be used.
