A name from the past is possibly coming back to the NRL. Word is the Titans are trying to bring Daniel Vidot back next season. Surprisingly his WWE career didn't take off.............


"FORMER Broncos winger and aspiring wrestler Daniel Vidot will wear a Gold Coast Titans jersey next year.

The Courier-Mail can reveal the Titans are deep in negotiations to bring the enigmatic flyer home from England.

Vidot is awaiting a release from the final year of his contract with Super League club Salford before he can ink a two-season deal with the Gold Coast.

The Titans have been on the hunt for two outside backs to join the club before the 2017 season and Vidot is all but certain to be one of them.

The 26-year-old previously had a turbulent seven-season NRL career, scoring 53 tries in 111 games for the Raiders, Dragons and Broncos.

He even trialled for a spot in the WWE and was confident of becoming a professional wrestler once his football days are over."
