From what i can remember he is 31 and next year will be his last. Before this year he signed a 2 year deal and that was to be his last contract.

he's contracted for next year.

he wants another year or two after that at sharks, but he doesn't think they will pay him what he wants/deserves

hes 31
i think his contract ends this year
we should look to sign him for one more year
but i have a feeling unless he gets rep honours again and that dream is over, he will fly to england

He'd be able to earn a fair bit over in the ESL but does he want to move over there again?

If he plays like he did this season then I don't see why he couldn't be kept.

He should be resigned for two years and come off the bench . He would be excellent off the bench with his speed being used against a tiring defence. He has been one of our best for a long time ( cept for when he gave away those penalties ).

hang on haven't we been calling for the younger brigade to be given a chance. IMO Nuts is in his last year with us, he's getting too old, let him hit ESL again for two more years and thats that. He should be used off the bench in 2006.

I'm against resigning Nutley. He's a good solid grafter who does his job well. He's not special. Certainly not special enough to hold up any more young guys.

If there is someone to replace him who is as good or will develop into someone who is as good after a year or 2 fine. But if not Im not too bothered.

i'd like to see these guys in first grade before gettinjg rid of nuts

i'm a massive fan of selmes and douglas but they'll have to lift 100% to be effective in first grade

Let him go after next season. He's certainly no Jason Stevens.
agree...doesnt have much of an impact.I think he will be gone to PL mid season replaced by a younger big bopper.

nuts = pasion = machine = someone you want in your team. but he said himself in an interview that he will see out the contract with the sharks wich ends 2006 and will probably retire he doesn't believe his body could take it for much longer than that . He is a great roll model and a strong family man that were his future lies i doubt he will look at ESL or GC at best 1 more season with the sharks, that being said to play him off the bench next year might improve his impact in the team and yes let us see what these younger blokes can do, but nuts running at you from the kick off ! is a great way to start a game. its great the he got his first oranges jersey this yr don't be supprised to see him put in a big effort to get another start for the morons not just off the bench , age is against him but he doesn't show it. nuts is all heart.
Player like Nuts and Martin Lang are like the conrod of an engine , something you can't see but just keep running hard and straight up to the defence, until they blow a head gasket and we score a try try try.

Well from the perception of the game , He's not a grub. outside of footy he seems to have a good rep through the media. But if you know something i don't please share BTR.
