D'Arcy's tackle and the RU judiciary

That was the most obvious, deliberate spear tackle that I've seen in 5 years, and miles off the ball to boot. If that happened in the NRL, he'd probably be looking at 8+ weeks on the sideline. Will he even get charged with anything? I doubt it. Is it just me or are the Lions a team of thugs who are going to be allowed to get away with anything they want on this tour? We already seem to have had unanimous agreement that Simon Shaw shouldn't have been sent off last year, even though he maliciously kneed a prone opposing player, a send-off offence if ever I've seen one.

lol. Imagine if the Warriors had lost.

Seriously though, that was a shocking tackle. Surely if there's any credibility in union, he has to be suspended.

What's particularly galling is watching Brian Lima sin-binned for a solid front-on tackle in the Wallabies-Samoa game. The Island nations have to put up with that sh*t the same way the Warriors have to. The lilywhite Lions can get away with anything.
