This happened to me with Stratum last year... I got on him for the Slipper. He then ran a poor race and his odds went out. Then he won the Slipper. I'm hoping more than anything that Enemy of Average just had an 'off' day on Saturday and we see a different horse in this... Not holding my breathe though.

with casino prince out, i'm going to go with EMPIRE'S CHOICE

finished 1.25 lengths behind casino prince on debut and was 5 and 6 wide coming round the turn. just ran into a smart one. i think he'll settle 1 off the fence midfield and he'll be very hard to beat.

and i think he'll go real close to winning the Sires Produce if they set him for it

What a top race to start the day with!

Turfiste is well drawn and certain to improve second start. Same with Empires Choice. Enemy of Average was dissapointing first up in Sydney. Hoping it was a case of the wet track and first time Sydney way of going. Tipping a much better run, wouldn't mind seeing him win seing I have a nice double going for him in the Slipper... Big Joker for 4th.

Unlike last year (Stratum) I don't think the Slipper winner was seen in this race. Maybe a sires winner... (EC).
