wonders after seeing the jets play panthers how much more he needs to do before he gets a chance in 1st??? been easily most consistent forward all year for the jets.

agreed from what i have seen. Dont know much about him, how old he is etc.

hes old and while at north queensland he never set the world on fire, he had great hitup and tackling stats.

Age is no barrier for Thommo. He was absolutely on fire against the Panthers last weekend, and also scored a well deserved try.....

I played with Thommo in the Canterbury juniors (C grade) back in 1996 which would make him 27-28.

I think he's spent a bit of time at the Bunnies too and didnt set the world on fire. I hope for his sake though he can get back into a firsts jumper. He deserves it!

Just for interests sake Corey Hughes and Brent Sherwin were also in our side back in the late 90's.

Thommo was actually one of Souths better players last year. That's not saying much though :|
