I never liked mumbly old stuck in his ways Bennet. Can't deny the mans greatness as a coach.

But face it, he dogged you -And I don't mean by signing with Newcastle. In my humble opinion he abandoned you when you needed him most, the trip to Newcastle was the evidence everyone finally needed...

I'm interested to see what he does up there for one of the most consistently 'middle of the road' teams in the league..

Bahaha good try Ace. You saw two perfectly well prepared teams out there tonight in one of the best games of footy.

That was such a close game could have gone either way. Losing Morris didnt help our cause and we still nearly pulled it off. Bennett did an amazing job of preparing the boys for that match up. Well done Wayne and the whole team. We will miss you and i will have to change my nick

apart from the premiership the biggest things Bennett brought to the the club was respect and consistency on the field..
teams now know they have to play to their best to beat us, where in previous years it was "lets just wait until the dragons make mistakes, they will beat themselves"

this is what i am most thankful for...

Wayne Bennett not only guided the Dragons to a premiership, 2 Minor Premierships and a World Club Challenge he made the team achieve what we all knew they could. Made all players play to their abilities. Bought an awesome culture to the club and the team. And most of all made the boys play as a team with great respect for each other. The way they defended last season was like nothing seen before. They played for each other and were afraid to let anyone down.

Mr Bennett gave us Saints fans the perfect season last year. Made up very proud of by winning all that was in front of them and doing so with class. 4 scoreless halves out of 6 in the last finals series. What team has done that? It took a while to win a premiership but when they finally did, that did it in style and with pure class.

People can say what they want about the Dragons but when opposition players have spoken about the Dragons they have said that they were the benchmark over 2 season. THey would know better than anyone else as they are playing agianst them.

Steve Price I am sure will continue the legacy.

If our draught was not broken by the great Wayne Bennett it is not beyond belief that a lot of us Dragons supporters would not have witnessed another St George premiership in our lifetime, it was a moment to cherish my friend "We love Wayne Bennett", the only dogging is from haters.
