The "Origin atmosphere" comments are annoying from everyone

But the way the likes of Wally constantly need to remind everyone that "these are two Queensland teams" and "Queenslanders would be proud" etc is just silly, these teams can exist without Origin. You don't see NSW commentators constantly reminding us that Bulldogs and Dragons are two NSW teams for example

.........because they are simple minded, they have an inferiority complex, they have a 'chip on their shoulder' about Sydney but it makes them feel proud about their exploits at Origin.

I think people need to separate the player from the commentator.

'Dictating terms, numbers out wide' over and over is slightly more grating than 'tremendous footwork, such power for such a big man, he'll play origin one day'.

This is the issue. He is just a shit commenatator, but the dickhead qlders need qlders to listen too. Nsw fans dislike Gould as much, if not more, than Lewis. But the second we say Lewis is a shit commentator its because he's from Queensland.

It has nothing to do with where he is from. The guy doesn't belong on TV and is a complete embarrassment.
