Death Sentence! K. Bacon Movie

This may be old, I dunno, but I hired this piece of sh*t movie last night called Death Sentence.

I was supposed to get Kurt Russels Death Proof and not this apparently.

I got muddled up.

Anyway, I don't like having my intelligence insulted and halfway through this film I thought to myself, 'what are these film makers thinking?'

Has anybody seen this?

How stupid were the twists to this film?

I can't believe how outrageous and outlandish it turned out.

What sane businessman would turn into that?

And the cheap violence that tried to mask itself as clever and stylish was utter stupidity.

It's going too far slashing a kids throat thinking it's art in my opinion.
It wasn't clever it's plain stupid and unrealistic.

Kevin Bacon pushed to the edge of insanity thinking that shaving his hair off would win him aclaim is largely mistaken.

Why is this film trying to be like Asian comic books?
Didn't John Woo cover that whole 'lit-up chruch like scene' in his gun movies then along came Cage and Travoltra and followed suit with Face Off?
I don't buy into that whole stylish gun thing John Woo style it doesn't even look good.
Aresholes trying to look cool like that come off half arsed.

This movie was a blatant rip-off to a violent video game.
It's trying to transfer it into the big screne and came off poor.

I'm absolutely disgusted at how cheap this movie was and how it ripped off a lot of other things.

The rolls weren't convincing.

The baddies, with their fake paint tattoos, were a joke and I didn't buy into this movie one bit at all.

What a small world this lot lived in concerning the vicinity of each other.

God damn cheap and too be avoided at all cost.

Film has lost its way.

This Death Sentence was a poor attempt at something that's already been done.
They stole that many other things from other material it wasn't funny.

Get knotted!

P.S. I think a movie like this is promoting violence for all these senseless kids today, the same as those racing movies (Fast and furious) promoting car jacking and rebirthing.
These Grand Theft Auto 4 games are ok-ing it that violence is acceptable today too and these kids that play this sh*t in the net-cafes all think they're European gangsters.

Society is gonna suffer as a result of what entertainment is doing today.

There's no class anymore.

Yeah haven't seen this, but i generally don't like Kevin Bacon in anything.

Death Proof is good, but I think you'll get more out of the Rodriguez grindhouse flick, planet terror.

I thought it was pretty good, far fetched but pretty good. John Goodman was hilarious.

I didn't like Saw or the 1st sequal (which is by the same guys) nor have i liked much else from them but this and dead silence i think it was called were ok, over the top but ok, i rate them about the same as m knight sham- whatever, they think they are being creative and unique but really they are just being stupid.

I was just reading a MAD Magazine book here in the library and it says that the scene with the Millenium Falcon being chased in the asteroid field there's a certain sceen where a huge asteroid can be seen and it's actually a potatoe.

They used a potatoe in Empire Strikes Back?

I'm on a potatoe diet lately.

P.S. I don't know how someone of Bacon's caliber can drop down to do a movie like this Death Sentence.
They think that with all their choreographed gun dancing in a cool manner is stylish.

John Woo started this rubbish thinking gun dancing in slow motion was cool with actors like Chow Yun Fat then Face off followed next then Cruise in those dreadful M.I. movies.
This DS was not stylish.
I hated it.
What is this film offering life?
What can you take away from this film?
That it's ok to act like a controled thug and that it's acceptable in society?

I thought it was ok. That car park scene was very intense and the highlight of the movie. The John Goodman role was a little stupid though.

I love Kevin Bacon.

I thought it was average, didnt hate it as passionately as St Brett but didnt love it either.

Just one of many run of the mill shows you see.

Contrary to St Bretts belief, I think average movies pinching ideas from others is nothing new there is sh*t from all generations.

Sorry, Brett, but anyone caught watching Kurt Russell movies qualifies for being shot on sight (sort of like Dawn of the Dead ... Get rid of those Kurt Russell clones :))
