The D word has me worried, 2010 no Gelea and no Flo Jo. Johnny Morris may have been a dud in attack and missed a few tackles but he sure made a few try savers close to the line, Gelea was probably our first real big hitter. Okay Fulton is back but he is a mop not an axe. I just cant see us defensively scaring any teams.

We have to be super organized and efficient with our defense to make up for the lack of fire power and their is the problem. The defense we had going at the back end of 2009 is going to take time to recapture.

Gibs is he most underated forward in defense, hits hard and always chases- just watched the replay of the para game round 24- hayne makes a 60 meter break and no one is in sight but Gibs who makes a try saving tackle....

Payne and galea only started playing well when there contracts were up

The limited I have seen of flanagan suggests he is better than galea, Morris or Payne- and atleast he wont f*ck up the attack like Morris.....

Dummy when he should pass...pass when he should dummy...FFS he was a major part in our attack stuttering out sometimes...

Well the defense was shocking for the first 10 Rounds of -'09...but it did improve dramatically mid season and at the back end. I reckon it was the major reason for our streak of wins than giving Marshall back his Number 6.

Hope 2010 starts as well.

mate gibbs made that tackle because he was bludging in backplay. when hayne fielded the kick i pointed gibbs out to my mate as he was 40 meters behind the play with hands on knees
