Delay Due time to Thursday

Given a lot of my posters like to post last minute for QLD...Could we please put the date back to Thursday, given the fact that Origin is on tomorrow night?

If thats ok by Gorilla and the NSW boys ofcourse.

I'm ready to post before Wednesday, or whenever it suits my captain.

Given that I will be blowing the fulltime whistle tonight, I will not be a happy chappie if I interupt my viewing of SOO to do it, then find out that fulltime has been changed. Someone better decide soon because I'll be off-line shortly and not back until 9.00pm tonight (very briefly)

I wouldn't say it is, nobody has informed me that it's changed. It matters zero to me if it is or isn't all I'm saying is I don't want to come on here at 9.00pm to find it has been changed.

I think the best thing to do is this. I'll leave the thread open tonight, and if for some reason it wasn't allowed (I don't think that would be the case) we can just revert fulltime back to tonight at 9.00pm. I can't see any reason for Gorilla not to agree. However should he not agree then they may be some unhappy posters LOL. It's wise to get these things done a little earlier fellas.

Mick, Gorilla may very well be OK with it but we don't know that yet. To be honest, you haven't given much warning. For future reference, this idea should have been floated well before now and decided by PM before any threads were started.

What we now have is a possibility of confusion. The referee may not log in until he feels he has to. And some players may post tomorrow based on what you have told them or said in this thread, only to discover later that they have been misinformed. And the confusion has already started with one player 'confirming' to others that full time has been extended.

Hopefully, this will be sorted one way or another before this evening.

Can I just ask, if we don't hear back soon, does that mean the deadline is still tonight? I have no problem posting tonight if that is what's decided I just don't want to have to relax now and not hurry myself only to be told the deadline is still tonight.

Apart from the ref agreeing, I have one other condition that I'd like to be met... that no articles include any events which happen during or after SOO tonight.

This is because you wouldn't have been able to write about those events if we were to stick to the original deadline.

OK, I've taken the liberty to get in contact with Gorilla... and just as well because he said he is transit for the next day or two and had no intention of logging in today.

I told him that the Queensland captain has requested an extension, and the New South Wales captain is OK with it. Also, that it has happened before and antonius is fine with it.

He has asked me to pass on the following:

"My first thought was to say 'tough luck toads' but I will allow the extension because:
1. There has been a precedent before.
2. Both captains are OK with it.
3. antonius the referee boss is OK with it.
4. Plus I will not be in able to mark the match before tommorrow night anyway.

Therefore... it is OK to extend full time until Thursday at 9pm."

Oh, and he also said that Big Mick owes Willow a slab of VB for going to the trouble of sorting it out.
