What can we say about Jackson Hastings? Gave us some of the most effective halfback play we’ve seen at the club since Joey retired in 2023, then in 2024 he both seemingly stopped doing the stuff which was so effective for him in the previous season + alienated a lot of his teammates. The leg injuries are a bummer and have hampered him clearly but ultimately he likely wears out his welcome with us anyway even without them. Chad Townsend will finish his career with almost 275 NRL games to his name, Jackson had the potential to play about that much or more but couldn’t stay out of his own way.
