mine is about 5 mins from home.
Average size which has all the usual stuff.
Always have ESPN and Fox sports viewable.
The staff there are always very helpful.
One of the guys who is always there plays in the local soccer league so i talk to him about that, plus he supports Wigan so we talk about the EPL alot.
Summary.....it makes a good
I quite like it

On a side note......
I was in Gold Coast the last week for a holiday.
I popped into the TAB on thursday for about an hour, and made my way back there on Friday. The lady that was working there was GREAT. Quite heplful on how to fill in the UNI TAB tickets and on how all the different betting options worked up there.
But the g/f didn't appreciate when i walked back in and i was talking to her brother and mention Lyn from the TAB

HAHAHAHA

do tabs get held up a lot? they must have a lot of money in 'em
There's not as much money on the draw as you think, especially at night.
In the safe there is a moderate amount, but getting in and getting out with that would be f**king hard to do.

That's all I'm allowed to say — I'm not going to give you dollar amounts.

As to my local TAB:

It is actually one of the cleanest ones I've seen. Some other you have to wade ankle deep through losing tickets, but the Moorebank one is usually very tidy. Pretty popular as well — we've just cracked the top 50 in the state (44).

A couple of regulars from the pub next door are really nice guys, one regular f**ks up his ticket then blames me/the machine/the TV/the alignment of the planets, every Saturday people sit it the same seats for the whole day.

The Sports desk is pretty small, but has access to the internet as well as QwikText, and nice new TVs. All in all one of the better TABs outside of the CBD.

coleman, a question, why can't they put more Sports TVs around the TAB? There are usually queues of people at my local waiting to use it

At mine, there is very little sports interest, so hardly any TVs, although if there is any cricket/footy/soccer on, I'll put the one behind me on that.
I admit it's poor form that very little sports are shown, but the fact is like 99% of the bets are for racing.
