From the first 4 rounds there's usually 2 games in Port Moresby, 2 games in Lae and the games have been at Goroka the Lahanis have a home game. There is also Banz were home games for the Waghi Tumbe and Mt Hagen Eagles are hosted amd Aipus Oval in Wabag for the Enga Mioks.

Probably in past years this would have been swept under the carpet and forgotten about.
Good to see that Tony Archer is driving the change and the competition is getting more professional.

Another strong performance and hat trick of tries by centre/2nd rower Alex max.

this guy must surely be playing for The hunters next seasons and maybe even a end of season kumuls call up ?

Alex Max played his first run on game for the PNG Hunters last weekend against the Townsville Blackhawks and had a blinder in the Hunters first away win for this season.
He made his debut 3 weeks ago off the bench as an edge forward but started at left centre last weekend and scored a hattrick of tries in the 52-16 win.

What’s Alex max’s best position m.e. Centre or 2nd row?

any highlights of this game as I can’t find any on either YouTube or the Queensland cup site?

he is big and fast enough to play both.
But I prefer him at 2nd row. And he has bulked up a little more this year.
