Dirty bird derby — worst result for the NRL?

Cant stand the Roosters and even worse watching them on channel nine with such biased commentary. Manly, never liked them, but gee I admire how they play football. They are hard and can play the grind,but they also play attacking football. They are not kings of the wrestle like so many other teams.

Should be a cracker of a game and if the refs actually treat both teams equally. Never thought I would ever say it but I hope Manly rub the chooks nose in it

I think I have grokked why people don't think that 4-0 finals game between Easts and Manly was the greatest game this year.

They only watch the try highlights reel and don't understand the rest of the game.

As a neutral fan I don't get the apathy towards next weeks GF. Look at their game a couple of weeks ago, absolute cracker.

If people are saying they'll boycott watching the game, here's an idea f**k off and go and support AFL, soft merkins.

This will be a great game, no mistaking that. Anyone honestly thinks otherwise doesn't understand our game or is a complete knob wad (In the case of IBM, that's obviously spot on).

Will be a better GF than last year without a doubt, can't wait. & I can't stand either club.

This is what's wrong with the game. Just pick a side you hate the least, put some dollars on it if you have to, and enjoy the bloody football.

As others have said, the Roosters-Manly final game was easily the best game of the year, tough and as fast as hell, and with such a tight scoreline, it went all the way to the bloody final siren. How much better could it get?

Is the problem that you're all used to 38-32 style superleague-era touch football try-a-thons?

Do you support the game, or just express some hollow sort of Qlder patriotism?

I had to watch those bloody Manly-Melbourne finals, for god's sake. You can watch this one.

Wouldn't worry about IBM, it isn't the sharpest tool in the shed.

Pretty sure if no QLDers were involved he wouldn't watch the game anyway.

All the other clubs should be on bended knee to us. If we hadn't told Rupert to f**k off we'd be playing sewer league now. Our two clubs saved rugby league and everybody should be eternally grateful so watch us battle it out for a premiership

I cant stand Manly, am indifferent for the most part when it comes to the Roosters and while i'd love nothing more to be at ANZ watching the Storm again, these two sides thoroughly deserve to be there and there's no way i'm not going to watch it.

You don't have to like the teams competing to appreciate the spectacle of what is the GF and if any 'fan' who won't watch it solely for that reason is no fan of RL at all. There's been the same type threads every season we've made it to the big dance but as the old saying goes, winners are grinners and losers can please themselves...

Hardly. Don't like either club, but both fans are passionate.

The Chook Pen are among the most passionate of all clubs. Even if it is just a bunch of people getting behind a few parochial people.

f**k a lot of you precious. Manly v Roosters looks to be a high quality game and a lot of you will be missing out. I despise Bunnies and Melbourne but if they faced off in the GF I would still watch it because I'm not a bitter merkin, I'm a fan of rugby league.
