He's the shizz fo sho halfy!
He supported JT in the UK not long ago, which was the first time I'd heard of him. I like his style.

he was OK live - the beauty contests he ran live got a bit tiresome and muting 'fix up, look sharp' at different times to get the crowd singing just ruined it live. he also finished well ahead of his alloted time at both Byron Bay and Sydney.

hmmm well that does sound pretty lame. i didn't see him when he was out here. his album is so absurdly fantastic though

i agree with mel. he truly is the "shizz" fo sho and all his songs are the "shizz" too

he's fresh

I saw the clip for his new song today. I forget what it was called. The clip was a little cliched, but I wasn't mad or nuthin.

His album won the Mercury prize over here the other week. It's like a critics award that I think usually goes to the Radioheads, Coldplays etc of the music world? Big recognition for an essentially solo artist.

hey thierry, is his new clip seems 2 be? i saw like the last 5 seconds on rage, which needless to say was pretty exciting

and it's good to see he's brought back some respect to the mercury award after coldplay. lol

I forget. It ends up with him in a club straight chillin while a bunch of video hoochies/strippers get all up on him.

Mine will be gritty and filmed in my local streets. Emphasis on will. After my book I mean. Everyone will be interested to see what a Pulitzer Prize winner's underground rap album comes out like.

Yeah my clips will be all up in my Porirua streets also...Grimey as f**k.

And Thierry we can appear in each others clips and show respect...like how D-Konz, Scribe & Footsouljahs are all up in each others clips.

word....but grimier....shit I can picture it, me strutting along at night with my crew (probably imaginary LOL) beside me....most likely a particularly dark night, and raining, we all got big jackets on and shit....sippin on a 40 with the label all blurred.....emotionless expression on my face, straight ice grillin.....

got the new album last night. showtime

stand up tall is layered in phat bouncy beats, but as the album goes on it gradually becomes more minimalistic in nature, like boy in da corner. in saying that though, it's really very different. it's impossible to judge the quality of an album after only a couple of listens though, so i won't
