I have done some research

Bush coach BA lost 2 GFs at Cairns Brothers.

But he did win 4 premierships though at Cairns and also won a U20s GF in Melbourne.

So he has Ivan covered with 5 premierships.

Sure, we all desperately want us to win, but wanting and expecting are different things.

Current Panthers team have beaten everyone and are pretty much unstoppable. Yes, we beat them twice this year and yes, we were ripped off against them last year, but that is a pretty small sample size when you compare it to their week in, week out performances over the last 3 years.

My deepest wish is that we win but I'm not about to slash my wrists or demand coach sackings, etc. if we happen to lose to the short priced favourites.

BA got to week 3. That buys him next year regardless. Its a huge step forward in my eyes and good for him.
His only danger is a GF capitulation initiated by JA. Failing that I reckon most will agree hes safe. Next year will be tough. Many leaving, post World Cup, a hangover from winning or losing on Sunday. A whole new set of interesting possibilities. Cant wait though. Season memberships already organised.
In the mean time lets just fu*k those, Chocolate Soldiers, Licorice Allsorts, Musk Stick, Smug Wankers up!
