BA isn't up to the task. He has been an ok coach and lasted 6yrs which is a great effort in the NRL for a rookie coach.
Perhaps he gets a gig elsewhere and does better. His time here is up. I enjoyed him as our coach, he seems like a good bloke.

We've all had cause to doubt him over the last 15 months or so and as you say, last week I would have signed him. But that debacle with the bench this week was pretty bad. If we can win the next 2 in a row I'll love him again.Seriously though, I'd like someone meaner. I love the bloke but I think we could do better for a coach. Maybe not from the current crop available though.

TBH it shows a team who won the wooden spoon last year. On the back of a big score the week before and they concluded amongst themselves that they were the real deal. Their opposition who are the real deal, got stung in their previous game and wanted to prove a point. One team was not prepared to roll the sleeves up and the other focused for the kill. A perfect storm, so to speak.

If you say one team wasn’t prepared to roll their sleeves then that’s on the coach.

For me it wasn’t just the result. It was the magnitude of it and the coaches surprise tactics throughout the match. I honestly thought he had learnt from the past, but I guess not.

I was getting bagged for questioning some of our wins and telling people not to go silly and re-sign.

IMO there something inherently wrong with the culture at our club. It has basically been this way for 20 years and is a constant even after changing coaches and administration. 50 point floggings like we copped on Saturday night just seem to be part of the Parramatta fabric unfortunately. Hell, even in 2005 when we finished minor premiers, the Broncos pasted us by 50 early in that season.

Given it seems to be a constant theme despite changes in playing personnel, coaching staff and administration, I'm at a loss as to explain how it will ever change... Other clubs have managed it. Souths were an embarrassing basket case after re-joining the comp but they've turned that all around. And the Storm - the biggest loss I can think of for that club is the 08 GF when they lost by 40 (when the skipper was suspended). Outside of that, I can't think of a time they lost by 50+.... FFS, they lost by 2 points the week before they played us and their coach was livid and threatening a clean out.... We lose by 54 and the only changes we make will probably be due to suspensions....

The dogs squad is hot garbage. They still seem to make a fight in most game with it. Even the last few years it's hard to recall times they had 50 put on them
