I think more of less people have laughed at Dean Richie for the article, which was raised as a soft shoulder love story to try and cast Rebecca Wilson as the hero when quite frankly everyone knows she is the media's most tardy villain.

You've hit the nail on the head but considering her substandard writing, no one really gives a rats if shes there or not, actually 80% probably wont her gone and the other 20% dont give a hoot!

Jesus, she can't even get her quotes straight when she bothers quoting someone at all. This is what Wilson wrote:

Malcolm Noad's now infamous statment "Let's pretend Coff's never happened"

He actually said, "Lets' believe nothing happened in Coffs Harbour."

There is a huge difference in connotation with how her bullshit quote is worded. btw Noad later clarified that by saying he left the word "illegal" out of the sentence.

I can't believe Wilson is that clueless. The actual court report that the ABC Radio leaked stated categorically that there was "not even the opportunity" for the alleged rape to have occurred. It simply could not have happened the way it was claimed.

It is people like Wilson who keep perpetuating the myth that they "got away with it."
