I heard don furner on the radio this morning saying that if we can get 20 000 ppl into see the storm game the raiders will give $20 000 to the starlight foundation which would take a big chunk out of the $100 000 they are chasing.

so if you weren't gonna go you should definatley go now. come on everyone get there.

This weekend's game is one of the biggest in the club's recent history.

It's against the Storm, it's to give us a chance to finish higher than 7th and thus give us a (probable) second bite of the cherry in the finals, and it's farewelling Schif, Mogg, Woolford, Smith, Hodgo and more importantly, our leading tryscorer and 300-game legend, Jason 'Toots' Croker.

I hope we get a packed house, Toots deserves nothing less.

Yes but if you are from Melbourne, canberra or around that area, its a lot easier to go to this match than travel to Parramatta. Also it should be a cracker of a game, and its for a great cause. I really hope they get the crowd needed for this.

Whether they are better than the Bronx or not isn't all that relevant when you consider the importance of each game. Raiders v Storm only matters to the Raiders, while Eels v Broncos will probably decide a top 4 for both teams. Much more on the line there.
