I like Gods Own at this very early stage though, it'll come back an even better horse

Mnemosyne will be something special. Maybe not this year, but definitely next year. She's only 3, but give her a few years and we could see something else. I love this horse ... the best come from last finisher ive seen in many years ... thank god Hawkes worked out to just have her a little bit better than last around the turn. Watch her, thats my big tip for this year and the future.

Time to bring out the real big guns now Hawkes ... Waterhouse isnt far behind ...

Has anyone heard any news on Matras re her injury from last spring? Is she back in work?

I was hoping for her to have a prep early in the year then be put away for a shot at the Melb Cup.

love your thinking there re: Shania Dane. I won a massive first four bet by standing out Shania Dane at $8 over a year ago. Ever since then ive been a huge fan, she is capable of beating anyone really ... but lets just see how Mnemosyne comes out in her barrier trials which im sure are soon. Does anyone know where you can find out if your favourite horse is doing a barrier trial ? Meh dont answer that, i know noone knows
