How can this Guy not be picked up in the AFL preseason Draft by someone?????

Is that it for the former Brownlow medalist????

Sort of proves Danaher correct in retrospect.

I can't imagine A NRL equivelant.

Sometimes the draft seems a too limiting factor in the clubs playing list plans.

I still reckon someone will snap him up (Meltiger is on the phone to Richmond as we speak :p ) but it is pretty incredible as he still has a few good years in him yet!

Wowoeful is too slow for the Richmond gameplan.

The reason he was not picked up is because the game has moved past his type, it's that simple. He is far, far too slow for the modern game.

Why don't you call Colless and Roos and ask them to draft him next year ;-)

I would amigo except they are to busy winning premierships :p

Given the amount of extra players you lot seem to be able to draft compared to everyone else, that doesn't suprise me! :(

Woewodin is crap, couple of okay seasons, one where he won the brownlow (deserved? debatable) and then slowly and steadily got worse. He will fit in nicely in the WAFL

He did have a good season that year, and Melbourne were good enough to make a GF.

Essendon were by far and away the dominant team ... But didn't have a dominate player. Their votes would have been shared around big time.

From memory he wasn't even All Australian was he? Good yes, but not the best. But hey, the Brownlow always throws in a few surprises (Daniel Kerr)

Yes but we all know the AA selectors don't know what they are doing half the time ;-) lol

All Woey had to do was be consistent in a good team and he was going to poll OK. Thankfully for his sake - He polled sensationally well.

The blonde hair helped as well.
