Doing it for St George
The Dragons may have been doing it for Bobongie in 2008, but they weren't doing it on the F7s football field. Like their namesake, the F7s Saints of 2009 struggled to get the full compliment into first grade, and were ultimately handed the wooden spoon.
The former foundation team has a strong squad and no shortage of recruits willing to step up to the crease. But at their historic meeting in 2008, when push came to shove the local F7s rugby unionists stepped in to intimidate the club into a disappointing season.
Since then a few CEOs have been sacked, and new skipper is now at the helm. Former Bluebag, 'The Big D' dragon_psa has vowed to get the red-and-whites into a 5v5 vibe. Can he do it? This punter reckons the Red V will win more games than they lose in 2009.
