Dragon's Salary Cap

I was just wondering whether the dragons are interested in buying anyone next year. Obviously there is a lot of speculation about Wendell Sailor but he will not be paid a large amount. The dragons have lost Danny Wicks, Wes Naiqama, Chris Houston, Ashton Sims and hopefully Matthew Head. There has got to be plenty of money after these players have left.

we have used up i would say most of our cap to retain Ryles, Hornby, Nightingale, Setu & Thorby and the signing of Lett. We wouldn't have much left.

Youse could sign a couple of premier leage players from other clubs but definelty no high priced players for 2008 for the the dragons

with trent barrett , and a few other high payed players leaving the dragons in recent seasons , im sure they could pull of a big signing or 2 and still stay under cap.

We could manage to retain good players and sign more, like many (most) of the other NRL clubs do, if only we had a half competent CEO and coach. With the players we've lost over the last season and a half, we should be able to afford to make a play for some decent talent.

Instead, Doust will get Sailor and a few talented PL players, and Brown will drain them of decent development.
