Dragons Set to Throw Huge Money at Kieran Foran

Would love to have him however I doubt he'll come even if we offered him the most money. He'd be wanting to go to somewhere in which he can get a clear headspace and be placed under the wing of one of his former mentors (Bulldogs, Manly or Warriors)

Yes I rate Foran very highly.
Should we chase him IMO not before we have secured all the players already within our system that we want to keep and if any $$$ left over by all means have a look.
Does he have to much baggage probably but 1 thing we do well is rehabilitate players who have gone awry although we have punted some from our own ranks including quality juniors.
Why did I say "why" simply because we have no creditable foundation for the rumour and like so many others before it all's it does is create a gazillion posts all about jack shit.

Only off contract person left we have to keep is Leilua rest are all expendable. We have a huge amount of money that hasn't been spent yet due to Rein/Marshall/Farrell all seeing the door at the end of the year.

With the main rumour coming out now that it's Foran to the Warriors we should be chasing hard for Lolohea or Fusitua.

Just heard foran to warriors on a 1 year deal as of next year but money wise nothing has been put on paper and handed to his manager ...now if thats the case lolohea is back on the wing which i believe he would want out so lets not think about foran too much he has alot of baggage as we all know we should target lolohea sorry if its incorrect spelling no disrespect but he would make a great ball player he takes the line on with intent and brilliant footwork .. he has claimed he would like to stay at the warriors but money talks in this era of rugby league

Massive risk. Needs to get his head right first

You are absolutely right , this bloke does need to get his head right .
And he is not going to do so if he continues to hang-out with Mr. Eddie Hanson as he was doing only last week at the central coast races .

All I can say is that is a remarkable recovery , in such a short time . ( by saying that I mean no disrespect to the man ) . Whatever club signs him must protect their interests by adding a some type of fail-safe clause to his contract , just in case of a relapse .

Sign him ? Personally I feel that the Dragons ( in fact any club ) would be risking some big dollars in doing so .

There's the other side of this argument, which is that if he does get his head right and he gets his life on track, he's arguably the best half - 5/8 in the competition and is worth a million dollar+ contract.

A lot of money for a player with baggage though. Let him go home to NZ.

No doubting that Tom RVR , he certainly is a class player and I hope that he does get over his health problems quickly .

Perhaps ' the land of the long white cloud ' will be just the tonic that he needs to get back on track , and away from the clutches of Eddie Hanson / Hayson .

He is the 10 times the playmaker Widdop is but unless he gets over his chronic gambling addiction, he isn't worth one tenth the salary Widdop is on. That is honestly how bad hos compulsive gambling is. So bad that I'd prefer Widdop over him. And that is very, very bad.
Absolutely. It's an addiction as debilitating as any substance and until he's sorted that out he's no use to anyone.
