Dragons statement: Player breach

Looking & listening to the press this morning there seems to be very little comment on the Arrow incident.
Has the NRL "asked" the media to avoid talking about it because it may take the focus off the origin.??
Our boys/club have been hammered & rightly so but surely this incident in an origin camp is as bad as if not worse.
The suspension of two games is laughable as he'll be in self isolation during this time anyway WTF.
Imagine if it was Tariq Sims instead of Arrow.
OMG. We would have been thrown out of the comp !!!

Would i be right in deducing that all players now are on one warning ? Does the club need two or three to rip a contract up and no payout ? In all of this the people ultimately responsible , the Board, get off scott free.
Scott Free Denis, Scott Free. What a life to have. Sit on the BOD with no accountability and no way of being removed. This mob would not last 5 minutes in the commercial world.

Mediocrity and entitlement have been the standard at St George Illawarra for so long, from the board down, that the club no longer understands what success looks like.

A very good quote from the article. Who can believe that the peanut was dragged out and not have the finger poinTed at him for been a big part of the problem.
From the article...

Want to know a secret? The Dragons are celebrating their centenary this season.

St George played their first game in the NSWRL competition on April 23, 1921, against Glebe at the Sydney Sports Ground.

Now that is something to celebrate.

Instead, the Illawarra side of the joint venture pretty much wants nothing to do with festivities, even rejecting the idea of representing the milestone on the players’ jumpers.

That sums up the once-proud Dragons right there: they can’t even agree on how to celebrate their own birthday.

Sorry @Willow , I couldn't give that a like.

Having spent the last few years defending the JV, if in-fact the Illawarra rejected the notion of a symbol on the jersey for 2021, then that's a real indicator of how much our history means to the board. Pathetic.

Seems to me, this was the year to tear away at any fragmentation, ride on the back of history, send JV merch through the roof, but nah.

Was it really that much to ask simply having " a 100 years of Dragons" symbol visible on the jersey???

Alas, the fans seem to love our glorious past more than the decision makers.

Clubs are providing players with a number on the jersey, including our Club. It signifies how many players have pulled on the Red V and those who came before. Unfortunately, they are only counting back to 1999. It's actually false info.

I have no problem with Steelers players being included in the count. For me, it's always been a bit of a mystery as to why the diminished Illawarra 'side' want to wipe the St George history out of the JV.

Yeah I've seen the jersey numbers and I like the concept. As you point out I would have gone back to 21, include all the JV names post 99.

It was an opportunity missed in my view not to mark the centenary on a more wholistic basis, including the JV period.

I have seen what SGDRL did with the display and merchandise, but it would reach a much bigger audience had it been inclusive of the period post 99.

Yep....I think it was shown on the news ( those not involved in P.V Bash )... @George Dragon may be able to supply current info. Thanks in advance George.
All players are back today.
My understanding is it was day later because they had to wait for JDB test results who was tested a day after the rest.
Edit, it appears that this Stat Dec has held things up.
