I thought that I would get in first to start this thread. I thought that I was good to go to start the round 3 thread but DFL beat me to the punch. I was hoping that my thread was the one to follow because I started the Round 2 thread v Titans and we won. My thread wallowed down the postings and I think there were only 2 posts.

Anyway, I'm just being superstitious that's all.

We can beat the Sharks. We can!

Amone in for Mbye and i will be excited for this game.
Yes. I like Mbye as a human and he is apparently great to have around the club, but unfortunately he adds almost nothing to the team. Not great in attack and not great in defence and not fast enough. A shame, but the game seems to have passed him by. He needs to make an immediate move to Super League, and I would wish him all the best for the rest of his career.

Was going to post but I thought You or Getsmarty.would.
Hope the boys can recover and win.
The bad habits in the game don't last in this game.
Of course Hynes is back.

Hoping that was his last game in the NRL. He had 1 run for 5m and missed 4 tackles. He is a downgrade from McCullough! Might be able to bring something to the koe games if Amone is brought back to FG.

I hope Nicho is back, I hope they are full strength, I hope the weather temperature is to their liking, I want to beat them at OUR home and I don’t want their fans to use any excuses.
We can beat them, just gotta defend their edges well, they play very side to side.

The problem is in our forward pack. We might go a long way to solve this when De Belin comes in at 13 for round 4.
The commentary was raving about our bench forwards last night, but it was the change of hooker that made them so effective.

Adding De Belin would improve any team on the planet but good service improves every player in the team.

The way the modern game is, our team should have a different game plan against each team. Against Broncos, we palyed to their tune and lost in the last 10 minutes. Against Sharks, We have to make them play to our tune. Make their bigger forward pack move around as much as we can.

1.
Mbye out/Michael Molo out
Amone in/Couchman in

2.
Won't rush JDB in. He needs to get back fitness in lower grades after long injury.

3.
Start with Amone at 5/8. Start with Sullivan as dummy half. Amone is tranditional runner 5/8.

4.
Bring in Liddle @ 20th minute for Sullivan. Sullivan can come back again later (after 60 minute) in the game for either Liddle or Amone.

5.
Rotate forwards wisely - both Bird and Sua played 80 minutes against Broncos! Forwards should get 35 to 45 minute each unless HIA or injury . We have 8 interchanges (Sullivan/Liddle/Amone). So with 6 interchange remaining, it should be manageable.

#3… Sharks game plan would just be run at Amone . He can’t tackle
