Well the Formula Oone site described it perfectly as musical chairs. Frentzens axing in the lead up to the German Grand Prix has sparked a series of rumors on drivers placings for next years FormulaOne season.
Frentzen has been rumored to be signing with Toyota for next year but has denied the claims and it looks like he'll be headed to Carts for 2002.
It looks more likely by the day that Torso Marques will find himself without a spot at Minardi next year. Minardi have openly said their interested in Alex Yoong and i expect him to be driving for Minardi in 2002.
Prost look to have kept Burti and Aleasi on but the news is that Aleasi will leave at the end of 2002 to take up a drive in the US champcar series.
BAR are trying to get Sato from Formula 3 but it appears they will not have the money to secure him seeing hes contracted until the end of 2002.
The big question marks fall on Bennetton and Jordon. Bennetton have Trulli on a lease and whether or not they will bring Trulli to Bennetton in 2002 is yet to be decided. There are rumors that if Bennetton don't finish 4th in the constructors race this season the loan is terminated. If Trulli does come to Bennetton it looks as though he will replace Fisichella who will probably go back to Jordon, i think we will probably see both drivers stay at their respective teams.
Bennettons other driver Button has also been rumored to go to jordan but he has strongly denied the claims.
Also there have been rumours that Barrichello may be leaving Ferrari and Trulli was a name mentioned that might replace him. All this has been discarded by Ferrari and Schumacher and Barrichello will be their 2 drivers in 2002.
McLaren is predicted to stay the same despite thoughts that Hakkinen might retires and Williams will also keep Montoya and Schmuacher.
