The only confirmed changes as far as I know are Thurling in for Tongue and Croker in for Carney. I doubt Furner will be wanting to make any more changes...although IMO Dugan should be playing for sure.

We'd all like to see Dugan for Purtell, with Milne on the wing...But not likely.

Dugan should be at the back for sure. He needs Milne to help him hit it up for a few more games.

The only thing I can think of is that maybe Furner didn't want Milne or Graham marking up against Vatuvai so has decided to keep Purtell in. Not such a dumb idea.

Anyway, I'm not expecting anything either way for this game. I just hope they turn up and play with a bit of pride.

Apparently Logan has also broken his thumb, but is still likely to play, with Thommo on standby. Great week this has been!

I knew this would happen with Dugan!

It's not his fault you were beaten lately.

Milne comes in Dugan has to work at it again to regain top division.
How unfair for the kid.
They expect instant results in NRL today.

Patience for f*ck sake!

This kid will play for The Blues in under 3 years stick with him!

Most unfair!

Agree, apparently he was dropped because he had the odd error in his game. From what I saw he didn't make many if any. His problem was his kick returns but he made 29 tackle bust in just 5 games so he can't be going that bad.

He had no errors in his game, David Furner is an A-Grade tool with no idea about coaching in rugby league.

He should have stuck to being remembered as a great player. By the time he's finished dragging your team through the dirt - the same team which finished 6th last year, mind you! - he will be known as one of the worst coaches in the history of rugby league. The is what you get when a CEO appoints his own son as coach .. rofl.

The only thing Dugan was struggling with in first grade was 78th minute conversions. Well boo-f**ken-hoo if an 18 y/o debutant can't nail high-pressure kicks 10m in from the sideline with 2 minutes to go to keep the club's whole season alive.

Meanwhile, Dugan played in the TYC today. Made 3 line breaks, 18 runs for 245 metres, scored 3 tries and kicked 5 goals. "Shove that up your f**ken ass," is what Dugan should be telling Furner.

I thought Milne had a real good game today.
Certainly did.

But Purtell was useless as usual.

Put Milne onto the wing, Dugan to fullback, Carney back on the wing, and put Purtell and Graham out to pasture.

A backline of:

1. Dugan
2. Carney
3. Croker
4. Monaghan
5. Milne
6. Campese
7. Herbert

Is so much better than what you have running right now.

I don’t think Milne is a winger. Fullback is a totally different position today. When ever a team is in possession, the fullback these days is stationed behind the play the ball and plays a support game. In defence, it’s a different story. I think Milne would get monstered on the wing
Any player the Raiders put on the wing struggles with the coach’s defensive pattern. Graham was saved today from coming in too far by a Warriors forward pass

Dugan is comically good in under 20s and I am not sure if its in his best development to be carving up sides every week. He should probably be moved to Queensland to play for Souths Logan if Furner isn't going to play him in first grade.

Bingo.

Seriously Dugan is wasted in U/20's. Watching him run around on the weekend just showed he was a class above all those around him.

Get him either into first grade or souths logan ASAP.
