The Sydney Roosters together with Eastern Suburbs Leagues Club will continue a long tradition of supporting local sporting and community organisations in the annual EASTS Roughwater Swim at Bondi Beach this Sunday 11 January 2004.

EASTS Roughwater Swim is hosted by Nth Bondi Surf Life Saving Club and commences at 10am at the northern end of Australia's famous Bondi Beach.

The race is expecting hundreds of competitors from ages 13 to over 60. Included in this year's race are a few Sydney Roosters players. Brett Finch, Chris Walker, David Shillington and Ben Hannant will be competing as part of the 'Teams Challenge'.




The players will be participating in a special 'Pass the Ball' and "Beach Touch Footy' between 9.30am -11.30am. This is a great opportunity to come along and see your favourite player and have fun as well.

Pen, I know of one child's eyes that lit up at this news. Somehow I don't think when it was suggested that a weekend in Sydney would be a nice way to spend the weekend together that they had this in mind. :lol: Some people have alot to learn. :mrgreen:
