Eddie Jones is a whingeing girl

Eddie Jones is starting to really piss me off with his comments about the Pacific Island team. First he grumbled about the match taking place at all, talking some sort of bollocks about how the concept of the PI side undermines the integrity of the individual Island unions. Whatever Eddie, just like how the West Indies cricket side underrmines the integrity of the Carribbean countries right? If Jamaica, Antigua, Trinidad etc all fielded separate teams chances are they would struggle for both finances and talent, but by combining they manage to be a viable and competitive force in international cricket, and keep cricket as a top sport in their region. The PI team have exactly the same opportunity to do that for Rugby in the Pacific Islands. Of course a really competitive and well financed PI side would mean that the top Island players could acheive stardom by playing for the Islanders instead of Australia or NZ, and Eddie wouldn't want that would he?
Secondly he comes out bleating because a few of his players copped a few bruises in the test. Apart from one dangerous (but probably not intentional) tackle on Gregan which the player got cited and punished for, for, it was simply a good hard game against a side who weren't afraid to put their bodies on the line. Ediie should f*ck off and coach tiddlywinks if he's that worried abut the physical stuff.

Spot on...and Rathbone has had a cry as well...he got hit late once, which wasn't that bad and the shot that out him down for the night was just a head clash from a solid front on hit...he should harden up a bit if he thinks international rugby will be like his cakewalk against England

I think Eddie's just trying to divert attention away from what was a pretty poor showing by Australia.

This is a ridiculous statement. The PI concept is exactly the same as that of the Lions and you don't hear him crapping on about them.

How many of you are kiwi's???????????????????
What difference should that make? If anything NZ has the most to lose from the PIs being a permanent force in rugby as most of the players are based in NZ and many are potential ABs, so if anything you'd think Kiwis would be more inclined to agree with Eddie on his first point.
And do you see anyone from NZ complaining about the Islanders this week?

I personally don't think the PI team should be included in the super 12.

After watching the games against Australia and New Zealand, I think they will dominate too much and it will be unfair for all the other teams. It's like putting a NSW or QLD team into the NRL. However, I do think they should get more tests, they've definately proven to be a strong team.

A team based on raced or origin of birth should never ever ever be included into a PROVINCIAL competition.
I wouldnt mind seeing the Islanders tour northern hemisphere or southern hemisphere once every 2 years or so playing more games against provincial (Imagine the Islanders against Canterbury  )or age teams as well as the international sides, i sure as hell hope this concept isnt a one off.

And have no Samoa, Tonga & Fiji? Cant say I agree with that, it's like putting the Lions in the world cup

More like having the GB team in RL rather than the weaker home nations separately. I think it would be good - the PI team would be a real power, whereas Samoa, Tonga, and Fiji are exciting underdogs with no real chance to win.

But I'm sure the IRB wouldn't allow it as it would seem to cheapen the international aspect. The simple solution would be for the 3 countries to merge into one, politically. :)

Include the PI team in the 3N series that way the Island nations build up some depth for their home nations come the world cup. The up and coming PI players can see a proud team that represents them and makes it harder for countries like Aus and NZ to poach players. Also make it that once a player has played in the PI team they cannot represent another country other than the country they were representing in the PI team.
