I know this is old, but has anybody watched this '05 movie called Edmond with William H Macy?
It's a very strange flick.
It's tried to be accidental in its approach.
You have to have a level of intelligence to understand what's going on.
At times I couldn't follow as I got lost in Macy's findings and revelations.
It's not a film you can cheat, you have to understand what's going on and listen hard.
That's why I'm posting this thread today.
The ending???????
Did the ending have an answer?
And when he meets Joe Mantega in the bar and they're discussing basketball was that the pinnacle of the whole story? Was, that like the crux of the point of the film?
Because the ending he submitted to the black guy and found love, right?
He was anti-African American yes?
Can someone explain the ending and did I in actual fact miss something along the way?
It was just very strange.
A powerful role. His prison transformation should have won him an award.
I like the part where he's on the train and confronts the old lady. That was a hoot.

This film was racy and raunchy. Sensual. It was sexy and confusing.
Go watch it.
Julia Stiles is not a bad actor too.
But I don't think you'd let a stranger come up to you in NY like she did and take him home.
She was in that O movie with Josh Hartnett.
Did anybody ever hear the story about how Jack 'O lantern's came to be?
The story goes a guy named Jack met the devil and he asked him to change his light bulb so the devil goes up on the roof and Jack tricks him and bolts him up there with a padlock and he can't come down.
So Jack cuts a deal with the devil and the devil promises Jack that he won't be sent to hell if he releases him.
When Jack died and tried to get in heaven some Saint Peter rejected him on grounds of being stingey and evil.
Jack then goes to hell and the devil rejects him too and won't have a bar of soap to do with him but throws him a flame and he's caught in-between worlds and roams the Earth with a single flame.
Fools wear masks on Halloween to mascarade as one of the dead.
When the dead socialise with us on All Hallows night aka Hallowe'en we have to fool them by wearing deathly masks.
Make any sense?
I don't know if I believe any of that.
Apparently Hallowe'en has more to do with finding love than scaring the b'jesus out of twits.
I also watched this other decent film the other day too.
It was called An American Haunting.
I don't know why her own body-double would torment her like that and not her father, if he was the culprit.
I knew at the begining he was molesting her.
When Sissy Spaceck first went up to investigate at the start and Sutherland bumps into her suddenly I said to myself 'he's doing his own daughter, the dirty old swine.'
I guessed it right off the batch.
I actually enjoyed this film.
The whole poltergiest theme.
Good movies.
Does anyone want to see a picture of my new Death Skull I found?
It's Death Skull part 2: The Revenge.
How can you seek revenge......when you're dead?
By the way.....it's my b/day today (3rd.3rd.) I'm the same age as Christ apparently.
