Actually he might read this forum.
. Daniel Anderson set for Parramatta Eels return
Daniel Anderson is set to get the job of Parramatta football manager after the club went cold on veteran Brian Smith. Anderson, the current referees boss, steered the Eels to a grand final in 2009, when they lost to the salary-cap cheating Melbourne Storm. Anderson still has close ties to the Eels and is known to want to get out of the pressure cooker job of referees boss.
. Brad Arthur all but concedes Parramatta Eels defeat
Still on the Eels, and Brad Arthur has all but conceded defeat despite being promised the head coach job by club president Steve Sharp last week. That leaves the way open for Jason Taylor, who helped the Roosters to this year's title, to take over the reins. The push for Taylor was on political grounds - several board members want to make Sharp's position untenable and went against Arthur as a result. The green light for Taylor has left Sharp in an embarrassing predicament - one that the rogue directors hope will see him resign from his post.

more garbage from the media and no quotes
seriously, how do they get away with writing this crap ?
Peats doesn't seem worried
Arthur would have been the better coach for you guys. Taylor is a north sydney loser. Just ask david Fa'alogo
I hope that article is completely wrong for several reasons:
1. Even if Sharp f**ked up - if "rogue" directors are taking a position purely to leverage him out, that is disgusting.
2. DA as football director? f**k no please. Worst recruitment and retention and veloper of talent we have had since Ron Hilditch. FMD.
ironic comment given MANLY lost the gf to easts only 2 weeks ago
2 weeks? Has it been that long already? Gee time flies when the bullshit going on at your club is sending you insane.:crazy::crazy::crazy::crazy:
EELS CHAIRMAN TO CONSIDER QUITTING ROLE
Friday 11 October, 2013
Ian McCullough
Parramatta chairman Steve Sharp says he'll consider his future after being overruled by fellow board members when seeking to appoint Brad Arthur as the NRL club's new coach.
The Eels are set to name Jason Taylor as Ricky Stuart's successor with the NRL wooden spooners after voting 3-2 in favour of the former South Sydney mentor at a board meeting this week.
Sharp's ParraFirst ticket swept into power at the club's football elections earlier this year, overthrowing former chairman Roy Spagnolo.
The three-time premiership winner from the Eels glory days in the 1980s was joined on the board by deputy chairman Tom Issa, Lawrence Shepherd, Peter Serrao and Robert Sassen.
But his push to appoint Manly assistant Arthur, who impressed during a short stint as caretaker Eels coach last year and is well liked by the players, fell on deaf ears.
"I led the ticket into power on the back of being a former player at the club and with the football credentials to make the right decisions," a disappointed Sharp told AAP.
"I expected a bit of backing from my fellow board members.
"All I want to do is the right thing by Parramatta and make this magnificent club great again.
"I'll always be there for this club, but I'll have to sit down and decide if it's worth staying on as chairman."
Unlike many other clubs in the NRL, the Eels have money behind them thanks to a new multi-million dollar sponsorship deal with Dyldam, an increased membership and a leagues club that turns over a profit.
Sharp said he knew it would tough turning the fallen giants around but admitted he's been taken aback by the enormity of the task.
"We have been copping a fair bit in the media and it paints the club in a very bad light," he said.
"There seem to be people who want us to fail. That's very disappointing and very frustrating."
Taylor finished his outstanding playing career with the Eels and was part of the 2001 side that reached the grand final.
He cut his teeth as a coach in the club's lower grades before guiding the Eels into the 2006 NRL finals after Brian Smith left the club midway through the year.
The 42-year-old also gave Eels star Jarryd Hayne his NRL debut before departing for Souths to be their first coach of the Russell Crowe-Peter Holmes a Court era.
He exited the Rabbitohs in acrimonious circumstances at the end of the 2009 season following a bust-up with prop David Fa'alogo at the club's mad Monday celebrations.
But the former NRL record points scorer bolstered his coaching reputation by helping the Sydney Roosters win the premiership last Sunday as an assistant to Trent Robinson.
. NRL referees' boss Daniel Anderson has been linked with a return to Parramatta next season as the club's new general manager of football.
A number of well informed sources have told Fairfax Media that Anderson has been sounded out for the role and there is strong speculation he has accepted a four year deal.
However, NRL officials say they are unaware that Anderson was leaving and Fairfax Media has been unable to contact him.

Anderson was recently linked to the vacant Parramatta coaching job, which he previously held for two seasons until being sacked in 2010.
Another former Eels coach Jason Taylor is expected to be appointed to that job within days and it is understood Parramatta officials hope to announce him and Anderson at the same time.
However, Fairfax Media was told the appointments are unrelated and the Eels wanted Anderson to be general manager of football if Manly assistant Brad Arthur had got the coach's job.
A recommendation from Parramatta chairman Steve Sharp that Arthur be appointed was outvoted 3-2 at Tuesday night's board meeting and it is understood directors now only have to approve the terms of Taylor's deal for him to get the job.
