. Sharp said he knew it would tough turning the fallen giants around but admitted he's been taken aback by the enormity of the task.

Gee - if he just stopped talking to the media and realised a chairman is not a dictator but part of a board that makes decisions as a group, his job would be a lot easier!!

Does anyone know of any horses that are racing this weekend? I'm mostly interested in horses that are faster than the others in their race. I intend to possibly gamble on such a horse.

I can't believe this nuffie, is he really serious about believing everyone around him has to bow to his great football knowledge? From memory he was just a head down bum up plodder anyway, displayed no vision, ballplaying skills or anyrhing else to suggeste he ever had a football brain.

What the hell is he going on about?

At this rate we may as well close the club down.

Daniel Anderson = terrible move if it happens.

Please let that be more Fitzy behind the scenes bullcrap that will never eventuate.

Leave the position vacant rather than fill it with a guy who has been proven as a failure in the building of an NRL club (multiple times).

The head coach should make that appointment

I will make the point that when TheFilthySpammers joined forces with DF to change things, did they improve?

If you visit the site it's still Roy's fault, everything, FMD

shouldn't it be the other way, as per Gould, the manager of football operations appoints the head coach?

Gould is more like the CEO at the Panthers.

The footy ops role would be something very basic like ensuring training grounds are ready, equipment is there and if things need to be purchased, then buy, etc

Gould looks after recruitment, sponsorships, etc

Completely different

It's all Roy's fault that Sharp is talking to the media and saying those dumb things

It's all Roy's fault that Hadley in recent weeks is bagging Sharp and his board

It's Roy's fault that yesterday was 40 degrees.

Gotta give the othersite credit, they have all played the game at the highest level and all know how to fix our club

Seward was appointed and I must say I was impressed the way he spoke. He acted as if determined to keep the selection process "in house" until completed. I felt we may have turned the corner so to speak.
Sharps ego then takes over and bedlam erupts. Its all so hard to explain. How hard is it to continue with Sewards words and when asked reply accordingly.
We lurch from one ego to another. Its all unbelievable if true.
Please please please NO to Anderson in any shape or form.

It should be however the club decides to structure it. The two positions will encompass most of the tasks involved in managing the sporting side of a rugby league club. There are multiple ways the tasks could be assigned and neither position should necessarily be subordinate to the other. They could both answer directly to the CEO, though you'd really rather have someone with coaching experience having oversight.

So the coach probably should answer to the MFO, as you say, but it could just as easily be the other way around. Taylor is smart with enormous NRL experience so he could be head coach, with the MFO subordinate to him.

Surely the names being mentioned like Smith, Sheens, etc are well over qualified to perform the above role. I could this job above.

I honestly think Sharp had great intentions but the more he lurches from one disaster to the next, I believe his biggest problem is he just doesn't have the skills. He's an ex footballer - sure but I really don't think there's a massive amount of intelligence up there, in fact I think we can safely say that he is somewhat thick and massively massively out of his depth.

It's what would happen if we gave the keys to Pricey and Burt.

It's not his fault. We were just desperate to get rid of the incumbent that we picked any ol fool.

I do hope he does come to his senses and resigns as chairman - for the good of the man and for the good of the club.
