Daniel Anderson's alleged problem is that he had no plans for the future.

That would make him a horrible choice for Director of Football.

It's not his fault. We were just desperate to get rid of the incumbent that we picked any ol fool.


I do hope he does come to his senses and resigns as chairman - for the good of the man and for the good of the club.

And had the wrong intentions. Right from Sharp's very first interview I heard when he was elected it was all about himself negotiating the sponsorship deal and how he would turn the football club around. It was always me me me and not the board.

As long as the people saying that were telling the truth and not just making stuff up to suit their agenda and cover their arses over his sacking.

Yeah and there are some people that check under the bed before they go to sleep at night to make sure DF isn't there.

I don't doubt DF is around the club, and has a say to anyone who will listen but by the same token so does Ray Price (when he isn't on the Gold Coast), I see them much of the same just on different sides of the fence. They are the past, and some would say the need to stay in the past.

The same must be said for Roy, his time in charge of football saw us have a season were we finished 8 and did the impossible to make us mighty.

Then we finished 12th, 14th, last and last with sides and coaches he and his board have to accept responsibility for.

Yep we are profitable, but the question is how much of that profit came from cutting football resources, and how many resources at the football club were cut to keep us under budget after we removed two coaches who were on good money. Our club used to talk about our facilities being fantastic, and first rate, now we talk them down. What happened since 2008 to make them so bad, what happened in those 5 years?

Lets get real about this, Sharpie had a bad press conference, and make a bad move trying to predict the outcome of the board meeting. But who replaces him as chair if he stands down. Go through the list of candidates, tell me who you want as chairman of this club?

A bad press conference ???? Come on MITS ! A tad generous there don't you think ? Does one of the directors have any clue about the role of a board? Does one of the directors have the ability or feel the need not to air our dirty laundry in the papers as a form of self justification ? If the answer is yes then we have our man.

Maybe but as I said, who replaces him as Chair. If I look at the list, I might have to forgive the Chairman and chalk it up to a learning experience.

I heard a couple of weeks back that DA was not going to be the Refs' boss anymore, so maybe there is some substance to rumours regarding him coming back to Parra in some capacity.

Well punch me till I fall down ! I don't know the other directors but are you honestly telling me that they are bigger dunces and have less business acumen than Steve Sharp !! Holy cow !

That is what I am saying.

Stephen Sharp (Chairman)
Tom Issa (Deputy Chairman)
Lawrence Shepherd
Peter Serrao
Robert Sassen

Now, lets go through the list.

Sharp has done what we have seen in the papers this week, it was a dunce move and seriously made him and the club look stupid.

Issa, is allegedly not a Parramatta supporter and is on the ticket to save Vikings, these things may be true or not.

Lawrence Shepherd allegedly had a situation with keys if you ask Jodeci and Stagger, which might rule him out.

Sassen, could have been the Chair or the Vice but made a move on Election night that sent everyone into a tailspin, then a few moves were made that didn't seem to be constitutional to my mind, so you can't have him and that leaves

Serrao, who I know a few people know on this forum, but the question is does anyone else know him, as in the public ?

Now that is a 5 man board, if they fill it with Roy and Mario, the next question is will the board go against the will of the voters and put someone who finished well out of the top 10 in the vote as chairman?

If you take that into consideration, well then you have a more complete view of the sad state of affairs at this club.

One day, Jodeci, Delboy, Colonel, newmanj, stagger, MITS and Suity will be on the board. That's who I want if I'm ever the King or the new Emperor. :D

I'd consider it. I'd be a board member. The Manager of football operations and the CEO should be making all the decisions. Not the f**king board. And......I'd keep my mouth shut to the media.
