Shane Flanagan never coached a team iirc before becoming the Sharks head coach. We will have to wait until the end of next season to see if Arthur is a competent first grade coach.
Interestingly enough, in the season he took over (2010) Flanagan won 2/6 games, similar to Brad Arthur.
Is there anything that can be done to stop it?
not one quote in that article
Surprised ???? Look who wrote it.Another article with no quotes.

For your info, Shane Flanagan was the Parramatta SG Ball Coach in 1997. He was the Roosters Jersey Flegg coach in 2004 when the Roossters went the whole season undefeated - his key player in that campaign was one Jamie Soward. He then moved up to Assistant Coach with Ricky Stuart at the Roosters from 2005-2006, before he left the Roosters and wound up on Stuart's coaching staff at the Sharks.
Thanks for the info, couldn't find out much about his previous coaching.
He took the Roosters Flegg team with Soward it in undefeated and won the GF. He coached lower grades for sure!
Hmm - is that because 12 hours ago, about halfway up the same page this was already written in response to you?
. Stuart's deputies at Parramatta, Dean Pay and Matt Parish, have followed him to the capital, but Kimmorley insisted he's keen to remain at the club.
